My lunch at work is whatever can be eaten in a prison-inspired 5 minutes

I take an hour for lunch at work, sometimes more. I spend about 30 of it eating something that was usually home-cooked the day before, then I chill out in the car with the windows down and take a little nap or listen to the radio.

When I'm not working ridiculously hard at work and missing lunch entirely, I generally eat a paltry lunch by myself and read a book. If not, I'm usually taking Alex out to lunch and trying to teach him how to be a better person.

god i wish i could see these adventures.

generally my lunch is at 2 in the morning and its a shitty chicken or turkey sandwhich with some jerky or chips while sitting in a truck trying not to be cold. otherwise when im at home there is no lunch, just periods where im hungry and eat whatever is at hand.

hahaha. You guys are buying Jared's story hook, line, and sinker.

"when I'm not ridiculously hard at work" - he means this literally. All he does at work is watch porn. 9 times out of 10 when I go to pick him up, I have to ask someone where he is. The "tug room." I'll give you 2 minutes to figure out what goes on in there. Otherwise he's just sitting around with everyone else. It always makes me wonder what his company does.

and when we go out to eat together, he always like to go to the nicest places and eat the finest foods. When the check comes around, he likes to make a show of his wealth...complaining loudly that his wallet is giving him back problems because its so fat with cash, waving it around and dropping 20s on the ground.

today I had a salad from Jason's deli.

Jared, is this true? Are you lying to people telling them your back problems are due to your walletian girth? You and I both know that isn't true. 8-)

The gas station is a 3 minute walk from my work.

Usually two gas station hotdogs with mustard and ketchup.
If I'm feeling "healthy", I'll grab one of the gas station $4 subs, which consist of ham, excessive amounts of cheese, wilted lettuce, and mayo.

I just can't picture myself getting in my car, wasting gas to drive somewhere, just to get back in time to get back on the clock, and have to eat while I work, when I'm not even that hungry.
Cook for myself? I think not.

Alex is not being entirely honest. Whenever we go to lunch (and I have to pick him up, all the time) I drive into his Law Palace and have to wade through a tide of his subordinates just to get to his office. It's a pain in the dick kicking away all the pillows and moving the fine fabrics out of the way, but after I get to his king-sized desk (which is actually just an oversized bed that he lounges in while "working") I take him to a very modest place where he gorges himself and refuses to tip, so I have to pick up the check.

Today, Jared, Winterfell (Colin), and I dined together. They both illegally parked but I abided by the law and walked a little farther.

I had meatloaf and they both had chicken but one with biscuits and the other with waffles. I had a vodka martini and they had beers.

Yesterday, Jared and I went to a Mexican place. He drank his lunch...I had a healthy taco.

you need to put some meat on those bones

i ate at an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant and limited myself to 3 rolls, some tempura fried veggies, and green tea ice cream.

This is how I know you are not telling the truth!

Lunch is an all day affair for me. I rarely do any work and fuck off all day.

Today I had some homemade tortilla soup that was out of this world with half an avocado, and a peice of leftover pecan pie.

FLAWLESS!

I had some kinda froufrou salad, steak, potato, assorted veggie, and cobbler. It's the holidays and the time law firms are "thanking" their clients for the year's business. Lunch is taken care for each working day until the new year!

Stale, moldy, wheat bagel and coldcuts that smelled off. Took huge gulps of water and holding my breath to get it down.
